Here’s how much I made in June 2009

July 1, 2009

Oh….you’d just love to know that wouldn’t you ?

Well, you will….in a short while. I just want to start and say that this will be the third and last profit post I will publish since I am starting to feel uncomfortable with this.

So, I won’t keep you waiting for long let’s begin.

A lot has happened during this month. I started to advertise on MSN and Yahoo!, I had a crisis with one of my products and well, right now I am seriously considering my next month’s strategy.

I have an idea which unfortunately for you I won’t share here which is pretty radical, but after I will know if this idea was a good one or a bad one I will share my insights.

So, let’s start with Yahoo!. I’ve only been advertising with Yahoo! for about 2 weeks. There interface is crap like everyone says, and unfortunately I don’t really know how much quality their traffic holds yet.

So here is my Yahoo! report after I wiped it clean for every little interesting piece of information aside from how much I spent.

So, Yahoo! adds up to $234.69

Let’s move to MSN.

MSN just launched BING this month and I still don’t really understand the implications of this. But for now we will settle for a stupid print screen won’t we:

So MSN is another $457.71.

And now, last but not least, Google. Google is starting to like me I think, maybe it’s because of this:

So with Google we need to add up another $6,226.84.

Now for some other expenses:

Video creation (outsourced) $500

Directory submissions $430

Domain purchasing $56.75

Site design $20

Site “add-ons” $47

Autoresponder $19

Software purchase $79.90

Opening a US company  $450

Additional costs: $1000

Total: $2602.65

Grand total expenses: $9521.89

Wow….that’s a LARGE number…..that’s like 4 times the salary I would make in month with my last job.

OK. Now let’s go to the earning part.

Again, out of privacy reasons I will not show you my print screens for this, so here goes.

On June 2009 I made a total amount of:

$13,635.97

Yes, I know…it’s a large number as well. Meaning my total profit is:

$4114.08

Which is lovely…..but not good enough.

Why am I saying this ? because if you calculate this you will see that my ROI is only 43%, I want a 100%.

And considering the fact that I will get this money only a month or so from now is even a bit more depressing. I guess this is what you call rich people’s problems.

So I managed to accomplish my goal of doubling last month’s income, but I’m still not where I want to be.

Next month is going to be even more interesting since I am going to launch a new website which I am really excited about. My next month’s goal is to match this month profit but with a much smaller investment.

Because of reasons I can’t state here, my goal is to earn $8000 out of $4000, let’s see if I can make this happen, if so…..the sky is the limit.

But you know what the best thing is ? That if I fail I get to learn something new.

Have a great day.

Ofir.

Ofir this is really great profit!
I am wondering, this profit is from how many campaigns? If you are willing to share of course…

Hey Tamir – mo, I have a dating eBook if that’s what your asking. And I don’t have big bank credit, I just took some loans from my family.
Or – I currently am active in 3 niches.

Thomas Edison has once said: “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”

And you, Ofir, said: “But you know what the best thing is ? That if I fail I get to learn something new.”

It took that Thomas Edison 10,000 tries before he Finally succeeded. Here is how he put it : “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

Way to go Ofir!

Hi Ofir,
Congratulations on making a profit, it’s always good to know that affiliate marketing is not just a crazy hype created by over excited gurus.
The fact that it is real and it’s working for someone who can make it his day job is remarkable.
I too started affiliate marketing last November I’m not even close to where you are today and I admit that I haven’t spent 100% effort on affiliate marketing.
I only started taking it seriously since April, I have tried a few different things, different approaches trying to find my way.

My situation is that I am a freelancer, I don’t have a day job but I would very much like to stop doing what I’m doing and start making a living out of affiliate marketing. I would very much appreciate a chance to talk to you if it is at all possible, just to get my spirit lifted again.

I wish you all the best and continued and even improved success.
Doron.

That’s great you found some profitable niches.

Do you work with CB and promoting e-books or are these physical products?

ofirbeigel July 19, 2009 at 8:39 am

Both :)
